*10780 is listed as the primary shuttle to ground frequency
**20390 is listed as the secondary shuttle to ground frequency.
You might be more successful monitoring the amateur re-broadcasts of the shuttles audio on these frequencies:
- 3860
- 7185
- 14295
- 21395
- 28650
- 147.450 MHz

Shuttle to base freqs are HF? Wouldn’t the ionosphere bounce them back into space? I’d have thought they’d use at least VHF or something…

It seemed kind of weird to me, too, but dxworld.com also lists these frequencies. Go to http://dxworld.com/shutlogs.html. I think they’re probably rebroadcasts.
