A week ago, I attended the Copyright Camp “unconference” at the University of Michigan. At an unconference, the attendees decide what topics are going to be covered. I was there to talk about copyright protection for my self-published study guides, and was actually able to attract a decent group to talk about self-publishing.
The discussion we had was very interesting, but the most interesting part was our discussion of the Espresso print-on-demand machine that the University of Michigan Press. With this machine, the Press will produce short book runs from PDF files that you supply them, and they can do this at a very reasonable price.
What this means is that I can now offer printed versions of my study guides for those who would prefer a “real” book. The price for the Tech study guide is $12, and that includes shipping. If you’d like one, you can pay by PayPal (send $12 to [email protected]) or by simply mailing me a check.
A printed version of the new No_Nonsense, General Class License Study Guide will be available as soon as I can re-format the PDF file and send it over to the U-M people.
