Oh, there’s no need to wait. In general, auto tuners work very nicely, and I expect I’ll get this one working well, too.

They do have limitations, though, just like any other piece of gear. That’s where a little knowledge about antennas and tuners comes in handy. You have to understand what’s going on in order to troubleshoot the problem (something we just didn’t have time to figure out at my friend’s QTH).

I was about to purchase an auto tuner but I think I’ll wait and see the upcoming results of your auto-coupler instead.
