Also, I'd have a station to actually make contacts. If it's a small group, perhaps you could do it in your shack. If it's a larger group, set up a portable station. Nothing hits home like actually making contacts. Ronny, don't be deterred. It was a bit of work, but not too bad, especially if the group is smaller than the one we had and if you can get some friends to help out. Because I had no idea what it entailed, I volunteered to assist who had done it before. After reading your blog entry, I'm glad I didn't say I'd run the event. Wow! You guys really worked hard on this. And it looks like the kids got a wonderful education out of it. Thanks for doing it right, rather than doing it quickly.
