This isn’t really ham radio related, but it’s amusing. Can anyone out there think of a way to hack a Billy Big Mouth Bass so that it can be used in ham radio? One thought I had was to perhaps use it as a kind of “on the air” sign. Another idea might be to pipe your audio through it.
Can you reload the memory chip with other audio (CW?) or is it a prom? Maybe it could be a memory keyer, or just spew mild insults in CW? Change the plaque to read “Big Fish on the Band” or something like that …
Piping audio through it would be good if you can get it to wag its tail in response, and turn its head on peaks.
Great ideas!! I’m going to have to see if I can find someone throwing one of these out or maybe find one at a yard sale.
