		<description>Meter reading doesn't require broadband.  The power companies have had their own low-bandwidth data-over-powerline systems for years, but the bitrates required mean the interference potential isn't very high.</description>

		<description>Finally we get a court that see straight! This was such a no-brainer and yet any time politics are involved there's a chance for things to get sideways, especially when there is big money involved. The thing we have to remember is that BPL is a reality and it is coming, if for no other reason than to replace the meter readers with directly addressable meters. It may never be the last mile solution but it will be implemented and as amateurs we need to ensure it is done correctly!</description>
